New Hope Ministries announces the 1st annual "Truth and Love" Conference.
The conferences centers on ministering to the gay community and reaching out in our churches to those who struggle with same-sex attractions, and to their loved-ones.
Truth and Love
Event Starts Friday evening at 6:30 for registration. Friday session ends at 9:00.
Saturday session begins at 9:00 for registration and coffee. Saturday session ends at 5:00.
Guest Speakers Include:
Bob Stith -- National Strategist for Gender Issues, of the Southern Baptist Convention's (SBC) Task Force on Ministring to the gay community.
Tim Wilkins--founder and director of CROSS Ministry, which reaches out to homosexuals and equipps churches to do the same. Wilkins is a formerly gay identified man. He is endorsed by the North American Missions Board, and has been a guest columnist for Baptist Press on the topic of homosexuality.
Mike Riley--Senior Pastor of Church of the Open Door, trail blazers for equipping churches in minstry to the gay community and surrounding people that struggle with same - sex attractions helping them to find knowledge and freedom in Jesus Christ.
